Jeju SamDaSoo

Korea No. 1
Natural Mineral Water

A heritage site to the world, won Triple Crown UNESCO recognition for its natural environment.

Filtered by Ancient, Deep-Seated Volcanic Rock

Jeju SamDaSoo is a brand of mineral water produced by Jeju Special Self –Governing Province Development Corporation. It is the only volcanic bedrock water in Republic of Korea.
Sourced from layers of volcanic rock 420 meters underground, Jeju SamDaSoo offers fresh water from clean Jeju through its globally competitive production and quality assurance systems.

Jeju SamDaSoo

Jeju SamDaSoo is recognized for its beneficial ingredients of beneficial minerals.

Jeju Samdasoo absorbs minerals such as vanadium and silica, while permeating down through volcanic rock layers. The geological structure of multiple layers, which are stacked on top of one another, filters out contaminants over a long period of time.

its Contains Silica (28 mg / liter) and Vanadium (7 ug / liter). Silica prevents blood clots and builds collagen to prevent wrinkles, while vanadium it is effective in treating diabetes. Jeju SamDaSoo is rich in these two components, making it widely accepted as a healthy drinking water.

Safe Water

  • No radioactive substances and nitrogen nitrates.
  • Passed the annual water quality certification test of the US, FDA, NSF and Japan MHLW.
  • Fast absorbing water and soft taste due to low water hardness.

Healthy Water

  • Contains healthy minerals like vanadium and silica.

Good Tasting Water

  • Usually the O-Index is the taste index of water. If it is above 2, water is labelled as tasty. The higher the Index value, the tastier the water. Jeju SamDaSoo has a high Index value of 7.81 thus makes water taste good. The taste of the water is delicious and has a good balance of minerals.

What is O-index?

O-index is an index of water proposed by Osaka University Professor Hashimoto Tsutsu in the study of the taste and palatability of water In short, it is the sum of calcium, potassium and silica divided by the sum of the ions and sulfate ions. The higher the value, the more delicious the water.

Sluggish in the ground

The slower it is, the cleaner it is

Just as all plants and animals have an age, so does groundwater. The time from when rainwater falls to seep into the ground and become drinking water is called the age or age of groundwater.
According to the final report on the comprehensive survey of hydrogeology and groundwater resources in Jeju Island (2000),
the age of Jeju Samdasoo groundwater is 18 to 22 years.

In other words, the Jeju Samdasoo produced today is that rainwater from 18 to 22 years ago seeps into the ground and slowly passes through the volcanic bedrock, which acts as a natural water purifier, until today, it becomes clean Jeju Samdasoo and comes to our side.
